Two interesting blogs have come to my attention, and I thought I’d pass along the recommendation to read them.

First, Nathan Gale’s An Uncanny Ontology. Gale recently wrote about zombies and ontology, which I talked about here yesterday. He’s also been working on an interesting theoretical frame for object-oriented thinking, an Object Cone.

Second, Fabio Cunctator’s Hyper Tiling. The author’s name must be a pseudonym, as I’m assuming the legendary Roman consul and Punic War veteran no longer blogs. No matter, there’s much material at hyper tiling, including a follow up on zombies and ontology , a thorough post on open-process academic publishing, and a very thoughtful addition to the conversation on philosophy and videogames, which responds to my recent notes (1, 2) on a metaphysics videogame.

On the latter topic, I shall plan to respond to Fabio soon, as well as to continue with Part 3 of my musings on a metaphysics videogame. Our term has already begun at Georgia Tech, and I’m also working on my (object-oriented) keynote for the DiGRA conference at the end of the month, so I’m slightly delayed, to continue the Fabio Maximo punnery.
