Water Cooler Games
Water Cooler Games served as the web's primary forum for "videogames with an agenda" — coverage of the uses of video games in advertising, politics, education, and other everyday activities, outside the sphere of entertainment.

The site was maintained at watercoolergames.org from 2003-2009, where it was edited by myself and Gonzalo Frasca. It is now archived here in full.

AI group Ellaz has released AI Bush, a George Bush simulator

You are a close advisor, whispering into George's ear. He needs your help making decisions and answering pesky trivia questions that affect his chances of reelection, not to mention the effects various decisions can have on his conscience. GWB痴 expressions, voice clips, and tracking polls tell you how things are going.

The game is based on the group's award-winning Turing Test-style AI.

I don't have any time for comments right now (more on that in another post), but I do have a simple question: the game costs US$29.95. I'm curious to hear if you folks would fork over the money for it.

(thanks to Andrew for the link).

I just sent info to Ian for a comp copy of AI Bush 1.0. If I can find Andrew's email address, will do the same for him.

We are always looking for ideas on developing and applying this approach, so please let us know of any suggestions!
