Water Cooler Games
Water Cooler Games served as the web's primary forum for "videogames with an agenda" — coverage of the uses of video games in advertising, politics, education, and other everyday activities, outside the sphere of entertainment.

The site was maintained at watercoolergames.org from 2003-2009, where it was edited by myself and Gonzalo Frasca. It is now archived here in full.

categories: Educational Games

The MIT Comparative Media Program and the ESA have announced that a second Games in Education conference will be held at next year's E3. The event will be held May 15th to 17th prior to the E3 expo in Los Angeles, CA, and will be open to the pre-registered public. More information and details about speaker nomination and pre-registration can be found here.

Last year's Education Arcade conference was very much worthwhile; you can also read my extensive coverage of it.
