Water Cooler Games
Water Cooler Games served as the web's primary forum for "videogames with an agenda" — coverage of the uses of video games in advertising, politics, education, and other everyday activities, outside the sphere of entertainment.

The site was maintained at watercoolergames.org from 2003-2009, where it was edited by myself and Gonzalo Frasca. It is now archived here in full.

Games for Health Conference Discount
by Ian Bogost April 8, 2009

I'm way behind catching up after GDC. I have dozens of things queued up to write about, which I'll slowly extrude from my conceptual Plah-Doh machine as time becomes less scarce.

In the meantime, you should consider taking advantage of a 15% discount on Games for Health conference registrations. The conference will take place June 10 in Boston. Register here and use discount code dmgfh09.
