Water Cooler Games served as the web's primary forum for "videogames with an agenda" — coverage of the uses of video games in advertising, politics, education, and other everyday activities, outside the sphere of entertainment.
The site was maintained at watercoolergames.org from 2003-2009, where it was edited by myself and Gonzalo Frasca. It is now archived here in full.
Once again, here I go with my rant. What is wrong with Christmas? Well, there are no dinos to start with! Everybody knows that dinosaurs are cool and nice. Even the King Kong movie, which is about a giant gorilla, had to include some dinos on it. In any case, here's the official Christmas postcard from Powerful Robot games. Even though Ian is not cool enough to be a member of Powerful Robot, we'll give him an honorary status for the holiday season, so he can join us in wishing you the best possible holidays so far (I was going to write "the best ever", but that would mean that the 2006 holidays would not be that good). Have fun! Get plenty of presents! Some videogames, too! Be nice! And thanks for being such nice readers. Feliz Navidad, Merry Christmas. Your happy happy hosts, Ian Bogost and Gonzalo Frasca
