Water Cooler Games
Water Cooler Games served as the web's primary forum for "videogames with an agenda" — coverage of the uses of video games in advertising, politics, education, and other everyday activities, outside the sphere of entertainment.

The site was maintained at watercoolergames.org from 2003-2009, where it was edited by myself and Gonzalo Frasca. It is now archived here in full.

I'm in Copenhagen for Other Players, which starts today. My talk is on casual multiplayer games, and the paper is available in the online proceedings, here (509k pdf). In addition to general coverage of the interplay between games and the world, the paper covers some of my games, including the Howard Dean Game and Activism.

Look forward to hearing you present it in... damn ... 7 hours. I should get some sleep, so I can at least pay attention.
