Adventure Easter Egg Poster
A glossy, wall mountable version of the first videogame easter egg
January 10, 2008
Nick and I are putting the final touches on our Atari VCS book. Part of that process includes creating figures for the book. Nick had the great suggestion of creating black and white illustrations instead of screen shots, akin to the kind you used to find in technical books and game guides of the early 1980s. The process is somewhat laborious but well worthwhile.
I was talking to Cory the other day about the process, which he summarized well over on his new blog. I told him I could now produce a poster-sized version of the famous easter egg in VCS Adventure, but Cory was skeptical. "The only way he'll be able to prove that," he said, "is to send me one."
Well, here you go. Now you can get a glossy poster version as big as you want.
