Bacon Tempts and Bastards Suffer
Two lovely menu items
February 7, 2009
From recent trips out to eat. First, new at IHOP, the "Bacon Temptation Omelette":

New! Bacon Temptation Omelette
Loaded with six strips of crispy bacon, a rich cheese sauce, Jack and Cheddar cheeses and diced tomatoes $8.59
But, perhaps you need something to wash it down? No problem. Enter the "Suffering Bastard", served at Pyng Ho Chinese Restaurant:

Suffering Bastard
This heady concoction will erase all memories of a spurious past. In fact, it will erase all memories. $76.95
Unfortunately, the Suffering Bastard turns out to be a run-of-the-mill rum and juice cocktail. Probably best just to stick to the omelette. Maybe with a side of bacon.
