Switched.com ran a story offering their assement of The Best Tech Writing of 2010, and my piece Cow Clicker: The Making of Obsession. I'm in good company, too: others in the top 15 include Zadie Smith, Malcolm Gladwell, William Gibson, Gary Kasparov, and the inimitable Onion.
I'd never heard of Switched.com, but apparently it's a reasonably popular AOL technology lifestyle site.
I'll admit that I'm often a bit worn out from all the year-end Top X of Y lists, but being on them certainly does help reduce my skepticism. Speaking of top X lists, Cow Clicker also appears on two of Gamasutra's 2010 lists: Top 5 Cult Games and Top 5 Biggest Controversies.
Last year was the year of the tiger in the Chinese zodiac, but for me 2010 was clearly the year of the cow.
